Kelly Clarkson has been a musician and singer in the United States for more than twenty years. She took home American Idol during the first season. This win did more than propel her to fame and acclaim, but it also earned her a multi-album recording contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings and S Records. Since then she has made several studio albums, including three which topped the US Billboard 200' chart and the rest of her albums just fell short of the top spot. Her name is regarded as one of the greatest success American Idol artists. As her career progressed, she began experimenting with new themes and styles of music. Often co-writing songs to express her emotions. As a tribute to her talent and uniqueness, she has received lots of praise as well as awards. The most notable accomplishment is the fact that she was awarded the Grammy Award three times. In addition to her work in the field of music, she has also appeared on television and film. She is also the author of the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with numerous charities.
