The role also earned him an Emmy nomination and he also served as the director of the film. Selleck plays a police commissioner who is part of a multigenerational group of police officers in the drama Blue Bloods that debuted on CBS in 2010.Selleck was eventually able get his chance to appear on the big screen. Along with Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg, he was part of Three Men and a Baby the film that was a hugely popular comedy. It was the highest-grossing film of all time.
